Flamingo Beach in Aruba has become a viral sensation on the internet thanks to the beautiful inhabitants, pink flamingos! Did you know that Aruba’s most famous beach is actually located on a private island?
Flamingo Beach in Aruba is located on Renaissance Island. Best of all, it’s FREE for guests of Renaissance Wind Creek Aruba Resort. In fact, being a guest of this resort is the only way to guarantee your visit to Flamingo Beach in Aruba.
There is so much more to this private island than the Flamingo sightings, so read on for everything you need to know before you visit.
How to get to Flamingo Beach Aruba
You can only visit Flamingo Beach Aruba for FREE if you are a guest at the Renaissance Wind Creek Aruba Resort. The island is only accessible by boat, and boats run every 15 minutes from two different access points at the Renaissance Wind Creek Aruba Resort.
If you are not a guest of the Renaissance Wind Creek, you can buy Island Day Passes here. Day passes are VERY hard to get and sell out almost immediately. They are sold in advance and become available every Saturday at 9 a.m. for the upcoming Monday through Sunday. We suggest staying at the Renaissance Wind Creek Aruba Resort to avoid disappointment and ensure access to the island. It’s a really beautiful resort!

Private Cabana Experience
At Flamingo Beach Aruba, you can rent Private Cabanas for an additional charge, and in our opinion these are totally worth the splurge! The cabana experience includes snorkel gear, towels, unlimited water and snacks, prosecco, a hammock, private shower, and a butler who will deliver food and drinks upon request. The cabanas fit 2 or 4 people (depending which you book), and there are private cabanas for rent at both Flamingo and Iguana beach. Since cabanas book up fast, we suggest booking in advance.
