Carnival Cruise Line has announced that it is expanding the schedules of Carnival Magic and Sunrise from PortMiami in 2026 and early 2027. Both vessels will offer a variety of sailings to destinations including the Bahamas and the eastern, western, and southern Caribbean.
Carnival Magic
Carnival Magic will operate a variety of itineraries from PortMiami and will continue year-round service from the port with both six and eight-day cruise options. Many itineraries will visit Celebration Key, which will be Carnival’s new destination on Grand Bahama Island.
Six-day eastern Caribbean cruises depart on Sundays and include visits to ports including Amber Cove, Grand Turk, and Celebration Key or Half Moon Cay — Carnival Corporation’s private Bahamian island. Six-day western Caribbean voyages feature stops in Montego Bay, Grand Cayman, and Celebration Key.
Eight-day southern Caribbean cruises explore Aruba, Bonaire, and Curaçao (the ABC islands) while eight-day eastern Caribbean routes visit ports such as San Juan, St. Maarten, St. Thomas, and Half Moon Cay.
Carnival Sunrise
Those looking for four and five-day cruises from Miami can embark on Carnival Sunrise. The ship will offer four-day cruises — typically departing on Thursdays — with stops to Half Moon Cay, Princess Cays, Celebration Key, or Nassau.
The ship will also offer various five and six-day itineraries, with select sailings featuring destinations like Grand Turk, Grand Cayman, and Ocho Rios.
Other Ships
Already open for reservations from PortMiami in 2026-2027 are Carnival Celebration and Carnival Horizon. Celebration will offer a variety of seven-day cruises to the eastern and western Caribbean. Itineraries include visits to destinations like Nassau, Half Moon Cay, Grand Turk, Amber Cove, Cozumel, Mahogany Bay, St. Thomas, and San Juan.
Horizon offerings include a special 13-day Carnival Journeys sailing from Barcelona to Miami on June 15, 2026 and features visits to Alicante and Malaga, Spain; Gibraltar; and Celebration Key.
From PortMiami, Carnival Horizon will offer mostly six and eight-day cruises. Six-day western Caribbean voyages, departing on Sundays, including stops at Celebration Key, Grand Cayman, Montego Bay, or Ocho Rios. Eight-day southern Caribbean options, departing on Saturdays, feature stops in Aruba, Curaçao, and either Bonaire, Amber Cove, or Celebration Key.
