A two-story cabana with a slide, the world’s largest swim-up bar and a private destination with Bahamian flair is what Royal Caribbean International has in store for its first Royal Beach Club.
The 17-acre destination will be in Nassau, at the western end of Paradise Island. It is expected to open in December 2025 and will be an excursion option for guests when Royal Caribbean ships call in Nassau.
Royal Caribbean released details on Friday about Royal Beach Club Paradise Island, which will have two beaches, three seaside grills serving locally inspired food, more than 40 rentable cabanas and artisan shops. There will be water taxi transportation to and from the beach club.

Much like Perfect Day at Coco Cay, Royal Caribbean’s flagship private island in the Bahamas, Royal Beach Club will have three distinct zones. Each will have its own pool and swim-up bar.
The Family Beach zone will feature a zero-entry pool called The Shallow End. The area will offer beach games such as cornhole, paddleball and a tumbling tower game with jumbo blocks.
Family Beach also will be home to a two-story Ultimate Family Cabana equipped with a slide, a whirlpool, a private bathroom and a frozen drink machine.
Royal Caribbean described the Party Cove zone as “an unmatched beachfront party with the world’s largest swim-up bar” called The Floating Flamingo. The area will have an infinity pool, a DJ playing music and a VIP section with poolside service.

The Chill Beach zone will feature a beach and pool called The Deep End. Royal Caribbean said Chill Beach will be a place where guests “immerse themselves in the Caribbean culture with shopping at local artisan huts or sampling different island flavors, from grilled shrimp skewers to fire engine fritters.”
Royal Beach Club Paradise Island will be the cruise line’s first beach club, with another slated to open in 2026 in Cozumel, Mexico. A third is planned in the South Pacific archipelago of Vanuatu, although there is no opening date yet.
Come 2027, Royal Caribbean plans to open a second Perfect Day destination adjacent to the Costa Maya cruise port called Perfect Day Mexico.
Unlike the Perfect Day destinations, access to the Royal Beach Club will require a purchased ticket for entry. Royal Caribbean said guests will be able to purchase an all-inclusive day pass and cabanas starting in spring 2025.
