Breeze Travel Solutions has launched a booking platform, Caribbean Travel & Tours (CTT), offering advisors the ability to book accommodations, flights and experiences in 18 Caribbean destinations.
CTT is open to both travel advisors and consumers.
The platform was designed to be a one-stop shop for flights, accommodations and experiences in the Caribbean. Breeze said it “solves the longstanding Caribbean travel dilemma of the often fragmented and cumbersome process of booking trips to and through the region.”
Its inventory has caught the eye of Kelly Fontenelle, the founder of Travel Advisors Selling the Caribbean, which represents more than 20,000 travel advisors.
“CTT stands out by offering a diverse selection of resort experiences and itineraries that are not available through any other competing companies,” Fontenelle said. “With its provision of multi-island itineraries, agents can easily curate comprehensive travel plans.”
Right now, CTT offers 1,300 accommodations and more than 400 tours and experiences in 18 destinations. Six more destinations are expected to be added by the end of the second quarter.
CTT’s inventory comes from a variety of direct and indirect connections to suppliers. Flight content comes from the GDSs and direct connections to smaller, regional airlines. Flight availability is offered in real time. Accommodations have live availability and come from CTT’s extranet, powered by the Busy Rooms central reservation system, giving access to a number of properties. Other accommodations come from third-party suppliers. CTT said it uses a similar process for tours and experiences.
Tour and experience providers have to meet insurance requirements and undergo background checks, CTT said. They must also be highly rated by the platform’s Destination Specialists.
“These curated experiences celebrate the company’s tagline: ‘One Caribbean, many unique experiences,’ while embracing sustainability and supporting local economies,” CTT said. “By introducing travelers to lesser-known communities and activities, CTT brings fresh vitality to the region’s holistic tourism industry, and perhaps most meaningfully, to locals who have a passion for sharing their island’s best kept secrets with discerning visitors.”
There is no sign-up fee for early adopters of the platform, but CTT said that might change going forward. Commissions for advisors begin at 8%.
CTT said advisors would be drawn to the platform for a number of reasons, like its unique content, easy-to-use tools and vetted suppliers. Advisors on the platform have the ability to create customized, branded itineraries for clients.
Pre-made, bookable itineraries can be found on the platform, or advisors can create their own itineraries. CTT’s advisor incentives include special offers, extra-commission offers and added-value amenities for clients.
CTT has an AI-powered travel assistant to suggest things like length of stay per destination and connecting flights between islands.
