Casey’s is typically open from mid-morning until late evening. The menu is virtually all hot dogs, plus a few sides. There are basic all-beef hot dogs as well as chili-topped dogs, BBQ-pork-topped dogs, mini corn dogs (my personal favorite), and even plant-based hot dogs. The sides are variations on French fries, chili (in case you want it next to your hot dog instead of on top of it), and one fruit option.
Given that hot dogs are the main offering here, it’s not surprising that Casey’s decor is baseball themed. There is a wooden ballplayer out front (an homage to the poem “Casey at the Bat” and the subsequent Disney animated short of the same name) and the small dining room is covered with both faux and real baseball memorabilia. If the dining room is full, there are umbrella-covered bistro tables right outside.
This location has been a dining venue since the Magic Kingdom’s opening in 1971. Originally called the Refreshment Center, the space has been Casey’s since 1995. The Disney Dining Plan is accepted here.
