Kynren – The Storied Lands theme park will be located in County Durham alongside the existing nighttime show “Kynren – An Epic Tale of England,” which debuted in 2016 and performs seasonally to an amphitheater crowd of 8,000.
The area is about four hours away from Bedford, where Universal purchased land for a potential future theme park in 2023.
11Arches already has future plans for more attractions beyond Opening Day 2026, including shows called “The Lone Centurion,” “Tales of the Tudors,” and “Conquest of the Seas,” as well as attractions based on “Excalibur” and “Robin Hood.”
11Arches, a registered charity, “provides skills development, fosters local pride, and supports sustainable tourism that benefits both visitors and the region.” 1,000 volunteers mount the Kynren seasonal nighttime show as part of these efforts.
