La Clé des Songes
La Clé des Songes (The Key to Dreams) is Futuroscope’s grand night time show,
performed on a large lake in the centre of the theme park each evening after dark.
Featuring special lighting effects, fountains and water screen projections, it takes the audience into
the fairytale dream world of the Sandman.
While the story is a little difficult to follow for non-French speakers, the visual spectacle of the show is
entertaining enough for the 25 minute runtime, if a little repetitive.
The water screens are very clever, especially when they are used to make it seem that giant versions of the
main characters are hovering just above the lake.
The focus at the end of the day at Futuroscope is very much on the La Clé des Songes show – the rest of the park’s
attractions close before the show starts, with much of the day’s crowd descending on the lake.
Luckily there is space for 5000 people on the benches surrounding the lake on one side.
If you have the energy to stay around after a long day at Futuroscope, La Clé des Songes provides a great ending to
the theme park experience, even if just to watch the dancing fountains and projections.
