If you’ve been a Disney fan for over three and a half decades, then you’ll remember one of the most iconic versions of Cinderella Castle the world has ever seen.
For Disney’s 25th Anniversary, Disney decorated the Magic Kingdom park icon to look like a giant cake to celebrate the anniversary and well…it certainly was a sight to see. Since then, Disney has been poked about their bold choice by many different companies, but one of the most common has been Orlando International Airport (MCO). And now, thanks to the year being 2025, they’ve done it again!
MCO recently shared this tweet online that shows their control tower edited to look similar in design to the birthday cake Cinderella Castle design with the caption, “We hope the first week of ’25 has been extra sweet and super fly! 💖”

Commenters are really enjoying the fun poke at the park, and we find it totally fitting since it’s also the 25th year of the the 2000s! One commenter even shared that the company should cover it with toilet paper next time to mimic the time Stitch covered the castle in the bathroom essential, and MCO replied with, “On a scale of 1-10, we give this idea a 626. Here for it. 😉”
We always enjoy seeing the fun ideas Disney comes up with for special events, anniversaries, and everything in between, and are looking forward to seeing what’s next!
